Your basic web page will be made up of HTML or XHTML and probably CSS. If you want your pages to be dynamic you will need JavaScript and possibly other programming languages. If you need database integration you will need a programming language to do it.
However you can look up any of those terms at Wikipedia and they will give you a detailed description of each of them.

The reality is that ASP, PHP, mySQL and AJAX are ubiquitous in the web world and you will have stiff competition with companies who are very familiar with the technology.
